How Purple Parking Works
Before Your Trip:
- Book your parking online or by phone
- Complete online check-in if possible (recommended for faster service)
- Print your confirmation or save it on your mobile device
- Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before you need to be at the terminal
On Arrival:
- Follow the directions to Purple Parking and approach the entry barrier
- The automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system will identify your booking
- If the barrier doesn't open automatically, press the intercom button for assistance
- Take a ticket from the machine and proceed to the parking area
- Park your car in any available space and make a note of your zone and bay number
- Proceed to reception with your keys, booking confirmation, and parking ticket
- Check in at reception where you'll be given a receipt and directed to the shuttle bus stop
- Board the next available shuttle bus to your terminal
On Return:
- Collect your luggage and exit the terminal
- Make your way to the Purple Parking shuttle bus pick-up point:
- North Terminal: Bus stop 7 on the lower level
- South Terminal: Bus stop 8 on the lower level
- Show your receipt to the driver when boarding
- Return to the Purple Parking facility
- Go to reception to collect your keys
- Return to your vehicle
- Drive to the exit barrier and insert your validated ticket
- Exit the car park
