How Purple Parking Works

Before Your Trip:

  1. Book your parking online or by phone
  2. Complete online check-in if possible (recommended for faster service)
  3. Print your confirmation or save it on your mobile device
  4. Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before you need to be at the terminal

On Arrival:

  1. Follow the directions to Purple Parking and approach the entry barrier
  2. The automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system will identify your booking
  3. If the barrier doesn't open automatically, press the intercom button for assistance
  4. Take a ticket from the machine and proceed to the parking area
  5. Park your car in any available space and make a note of your zone and bay number
  6. Proceed to reception with your keys, booking confirmation, and parking ticket
  7. Check in at reception where you'll be given a receipt and directed to the shuttle bus stop
  8. Board the next available shuttle bus to your terminal

On Return:

  1. Collect your luggage and exit the terminal
  2. Make your way to the Purple Parking shuttle bus pick-up point:
    • North Terminal: Bus stop 7 on the lower level
    • South Terminal: Bus stop 8 on the lower level
  3. Show your receipt to the driver when boarding
  4. Return to the Purple Parking facility
  5. Go to reception to collect your keys
  6. Return to your vehicle
  7. Drive to the exit barrier and insert your validated ticket
  8. Exit the car park
